treat me and I’ll treat you

Should you like to express your appreciation in a memorable way or are looking for some inspiration for our upcoming date, below are some things I am most fond of. I’ve listed my favorite brands, sizes, and preferences. Showing up to a date with a gift or tip will certainly set you apart.

My wishlistr and gift cards are the preferred way to pick some of my favorite gifts and send them to me (ask me for a discreet address) or arrive to our date with them.

And, of course, I also accept digital tips (please email me for my handles) or gift cards to any of the listed below.

Food is the way to my heart. Bring some snacks for our next date or book a reservation at one of my favorite spots below.

Need more ideas? I’ve got plenty. Send me an email.

  • Caviar with cucumbers or plain potato chips (don’t forget the crème fraîche!)
  • Artisanal cheese platters
  • Hummus and crackers (or pitas)
  • Veggies and dip
  • Fresh sliced fruit

  • Mourad: Let’s sit at the bar or dine in their dining room, you won’t be disappointed
  • Birdsong: You’ll probably want to skip lunch for this tasting menu!
  • Omakase: This spot sources some of the best sushi in the Bay Area
  • Californios: One of my favorites – I’ll never turn an invitation down
  • Spruce: Best for brunch or lunch (dinner is fab too!) and has the best caviar service in the city, prove me wrong!

  • Single Thread: I have a plan for this one that involves an overnight – it’s a dream date of mine! Let’s do it right.
  • Quince: Will you be my first?
  • Atelier Crenn: Can anyone get reservations here?

Let’s clink glasses and cheers to burgeoning love or reunions. Show me your favorite bottle, bring one of mine, or let’s meet at one of my favorite spots below after hours.

Need more ideas? I’ve got plenty. Send me an email.

    • Billecart-Salmon: Rare or vintage bottles are sure to please but you can’t miss with their Blanc de Blanc or Brut Rose
    • Dom Ruinart (any year – pretty pretty please)
    • Piper-Heidsieck Brut Vintage Rare 2008
    • Bollinger La Grande Annee Brut 2014
    • Big, bold California Cabs
    • Classic Zins
    • Cold-brewed coffee: splash of almond milk and one stevia
    • Sparkling water with fresh fruit

    • Mourad: The bar here never disappoints (and serves their full menu – or snacks)
    • Holbrook House: A hot new spot with a classic drink menu and bar snacks to go with
    • Linden Room: A small, no reservation bar that is sure to impress
    • Press Club: An extensive wine list with dim and moody lighting and plenty of seating
    • Great bottle selection and an outdoor patio – my secret (but not-so-secret) spot
